PD for Realtime Audio+Video+Streaming // hack the media At the moment (and it seems forever) i'm using PD for the development and use of multimedia applications. Pure Data - aka PD - is a visual programming environment similar to Max/MSP originially thought for realtime audio modelling and manipulation. Video modelling and manipulation is also possible by adding some externals - which are like plug-ins - and there are hundreds of them all over the net! Network control data, sensors and robotics are some other examples of stuff one can do with PD.
